Biography
Pantera's professional debut was on 1982 at Arena Arena Ecatepec. He teamed up with Rocky Segura against Los Pandilleros Memo Arenas & Bad Boy.
In his early years of career he had a notable feud against Babe Casas they dispute the Arena Naucalpan Lightweight Championship and they had two luchas de apuesta in which Pantera I won Casas hair in both ocassions.
In 1985 he was awarded as the Rookie of the Year by El Halcon Magazine. He was considered an idol at Arena Naucalpan for the full attendances registred each week without the support from other wrestling stars from outside. It was said he was the big draw.
His has a vast championship record disputing and winning State Titles and from major promotions and associations. He had disputed the UWA World Featherweight Championship two occasions against Rodolfo Ruiz one losing effort and one tied; and two title shots against Romano Garcia Both matches were tied as well. He won a good number of Local and State titles in the lightweight division and Tag Team as well. His latest winning was the IWRG Intercontinental Lightweight Championship.
In 1994 he wrestled under the name of Cobra with the approval of the original La Cobra as his successor. He even won the mask of Rams under as Cobra.
His lucha de apuestas record is impressive having a good numberof winnings masks and hairs.
Throught his career he worked at major wrestling promotions in Mexico such as the independent se of Toreo de Cuatro Caminos, EMLL, AAA, Pavillon Azteca, OWL, Lucha Boom, Chilanga Mask, Memes, and Chairos.
He is now often teaming with his brother Mike Segura. He is also performing as Trainer at the Gym Escuela Zeus.
He is well regarded for his wrestling style combining technical and highflying moves perfectly. Until today his unique wrestling style is intact.
