He originally wanted to be a professional wrestler he even made his debut and was introduced as one of the Trio Los Payasos Arena Mexicali. However, his career took another turn. During a local event there were no referees available and he was chosen to take over. He enjoyed the experience so much that he decided to become a full time referee.
During 2019, El Peluche was involved in the feud between Los Haraganes against Triple Amenaza. Both stables went into a lucha de apuestas match in the 8th Anniversary Show of The Crash celebrated on November First. He supported Triple Amenaza by wagering his hair because Príncipe Arandú is bald. The Triple Amenaza won Los Haraganes' masks.
