[[Villano I]], born José de Jesús Díaz Mendoza, was the first of the five Villano brothers. He began wresting in 1969 along with his brother [[Villano II]]. He spent most of his 20+ year career as trios wrestler with his brothers in the [[UWA]]. On October 21st, 1988, he and his brothers [[Villano IV]] and [[Villano V]] captured the masks of [[Los Brazos]] in one of the most famous matches in lucha libre history. He semi-retired in 1993 and passed away on January 4th, 2001.

He spent most of his 20+ year career as trios wrestler with his brothers in the UWA. On October 21st, 1988, he and his brothers Villano IV and Villano V captured the masks of Los Brazos in one of the most famous matches in lucha libre history. He semi-retired in 1993 and passed away on January 4th, 2001.
