The Generación 2016 is a new generation of luchadors who came to CMLL to fill new places. Most of them are second/third generation wrestlers and all they earned a spot in 2016's Gran Alternativa Tournament. Fujin and Raijin came to Mexico early the year in a learning excursion from NJPW, but both they are no part of this group. Golden Magic is probably member of this group too.
