Mexicali rudo since 2014. His family are wrestling fans, particularly his father who told him that they had relatives who were professinal wrestlers. He saw Abismo Negro as an inspiration to follow Lucha Libre. Dago was willing to train lucha libre, but he did not know where to go and he was still attending high school. In a wrestling event in Palenque del Fex he learned that Iron Boy and him were relatives. Years later, after he graduated from high school at the age of 18, he decided to train Lucha Libre. Trained for more than two years with Iron Boy in order to become professional. When he left Arena Mexicali, he continued with his training at Arena Nacionalista where honed his skills with Skalibur. Kamik-C was another mentor as well.

His debut was under the name of Antrax in a singles match against Kronox. He used three different designs. On 2016 he left Empresa Arena Mexicali, but the promoter asked him to return the masks and gears, because the promoter claimed to own the gimmick. Ortiz decided to unmask before the promoter give the gimmick to someone else. Along with Galaxy and Galáctico made their debut as a the trio of Los Judas on February 14, 2016 at Arena Nacionalista. During that match he unmasked making official that he was no longer Antrax and from then he would go as Dago Ortiz. Besides, he always wanted to go unmasked.

He had wrestled in promotions such as Arena Mexicali, 126f Pro Wrestling, Empresa Arena Nacionalista, Promociones Reyna, Majestick Promotions, RL Promotions, PWL, and Local Wrestlers. He is predominantly a brawler, but has a tendency for the strong style.

So far he had teamed up with Nueva Era at Arena Mexicali until he left. He was part of Los Judas with Galaxy & Galáctico and most recently Kamik-C and Ortiz left behind their feud to become Los Machos Alfa.

On December 15, 2018, Dago Ortiz & Platino in Arena Nacionalista appeared defeating Komic & Welder in a tag team match.
