WCW was an American wrestling prootion that existed in from 1988 to 2001.
It's place in the history of Lucha Libre should never be underestimated, as it was the first promotion to showcase the talents of Mexican wrestlers on a big level in the US with the When Worlds Collide PPV in November 1994.
