Tentative updated data

Of note, the magazine has June 21, not June 4th as the last title reign - but first match should've aired to confirm the title change. Checking...

in cibernetico's words the status of the championship is unclear

In an Interview Charly Manson claims that he still has posesion of the title do to the fact that Mesias won the 3 way match and he his from Puerto Rico so he claims he still the champion

Goliath defended the title on August 23, 1968 against Carlos Moll, so it can't be right that he won it in March 1969. --Ringo 11:34, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Sadly that was the best shot of Garza with the belt from both the match he won it from Lover and his title defense in Juarez. In fact they never got a shot of Lover with the belt before he defended vs Garza.--Robert 23:12, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Box Y Lucha 905 version

Their version starts the history on June 24, 1944 with Firpo Segura defeating Doc Macias. As of this writing, that's a title change we have in 1940 (though we have nothing stopping it from being 1944)

  1. Firpo Segura
  2. Ray Duran
  3. Firpo Segura
  4. Daniel Aldana
  5. Firpo Segura
  6. Joaquin Murrieta
  7. Medico Asesino
  8. Pepe Mendieta
  9. Chico Casaola
  10. Pantera Negra
  11. Black Gordman
  12. Polo Torres
  13. Henry Pilusso
  14. Goliath

There's a Steve Morgan/Firpo Segura title reign missing i this version.

1987 error

Super Halcon appears to be defending the belt on this July 1987 show, so his title win probably came sooner than that. We don't have Guadalajara lineups for 1987, newspaper doesn't list them. Thecubsfan (talk) 19:12, 22 June 2021 (PDT)

1988

Halcon 787 places the Halcon/Dantes title change in Acapulco near the end of May. I'd guess the 27th if I had to guess because Wednesday is the usual EMLL day in Arena Coliseo Acapulco, but not confirmed. --thecubsfan (talk) 14:01, 20 December 2021 (PST)
