Connection to Mexico and or Lucha?--Flashmagic (talk) 03:51, 2 July 2018 (PDT)

Yes, there is connection to lucha, she wrestled in PWA which has a Lucha Libre style similar to Michinoku Pro Wrestling. There is also Lucha Fantastica in Australia which has the same aspects as lucha libre and she had wrestled there. She also wrestled in USA promotions with influence in lucha.

Here is the official page of Lucha Fantastica https://www.facebook.com/LuchaLibreInAustralia/

I'll leave the decision up to Cubs, but I lean to no official lucha libre connection and this profile to be deleted. If people like Facebrooke are on here then so should the various Chikara guys, and they definitely should not be on here.--Flashmagic (talk) 08:43, 2 July 2018 (PDT)

They may have a lucha libre style but, as you pointed out, so does Michinoku Pro and we don't include everyone just because they worked for that promotion.

The website and the Facebook make it feel a lot closer to Lucha Va Voom. We have included people who've worked those shows, but we don't tend to include people who only work for them. Lucha Va Voom also brings in Mexican and Latino wrestlers regularly, while this group does not appear to - they don't seem to mention names of any of the wrestlers on Facebook events or their website, which gives me the impression the focus are is not on the wrestling. It feels more of a homage to lucha libre than a lucha libre promotion itself, which is perfectly fine but not worth space here.

Figuring out where the line is between "lucha libre" and "everything else" is increasingly difficult. I'd rather err on the side of not including people who only just fit the description. --thecubsfan (talk) 13:45, 2 July 2018 (PDT)
