Lucha Libre (magazine) 46's En Super Libre mentions El Carnicerito defeated Pulgarcito for this title. Issue date is 1964-09-06 (which means this title change probably happened in August.) Carnicerito was previously Arena San Juan Pantitlan lightweight champion and those titles are sometimes confusingly mentioned as DF titles in this issues.

Later int hat same issue, Pulgarcito is hyped as the first runner up for this title, suggested this Carnicerito/Pulgarcito match was the original tournament final.

Am I reading this wrong? To me, the source says the event was in Mexico City.
