Plaza Mexico is the biggest bull ring in Mexico City. It's hosted major boxing events and lucha libre events. The building was opened in 1946, and lucha events date back to the 1952-53 TV led boom.


This building was the site of [[TripleMania I]]. The seating capacity of the building is around 48,000 seats, but over 50,000 were in the building for that show. It was also the site of the [[Padrisimo]] AAA vs CMLL show. AAA's since used it for other major cards thru the years.

Plaza Mexico

Plaza Mexico is the biggest bull ring in Mexico City. It's hosted major boxing events and lucha libre events. The building was opened in 1946, and lucha events date back to the 1952-53 TV led boom.

This building was the site of TripleMania I. The seating capacity of the building is around 48,000 seats, but over 50,000 were in the building for that show. It was also the site of the Padrisimo AAA vs CMLL show. AAA's since used it for other major cards thru the years.
