Notes

First appeared on the scene for AAA in late 1997 as Oscar Sevilla. His gimmick appeared to be an off-shoot of the one Torero did. He was a bullfighter except unlike Torero, he was a young kid who just starting out and wanted to be the best bullfighter and wrestler he could be. Naturally a lot of the veteran rudos objected to this and he was constantly involved in feuds which led to hair matches.

Gran Apache was one of those rudos and took Sevilla under his wing, working with him constantly trying to make him a better wrestler. It didn't really work out as Sevilla was never any good unless he was in the ring with Apache himself.

In early 2005 as the popularity of Mistico was skyrocketing, Antonio Pena decided he wanted his own version of the same gimmick and put Sevilla under the mask as El Ángel. There was no hiding the fact it was carbon copy of Mistico's gimmick and combining that with Sevilla's lack of skill led to the gimmick being a complete failure. For whatever reason Pena kept the mask on Sevilla and to this day he still works as El Ángel, a perennial AAA undercarder who occasionally will fill in as a member of the Real Fuerza Aérea AAA.

In April of 2009 Ángel left AAA. He's drifted around the indies since, and seems to be a occasional tecnico for IWRG.
