History of Championship

This is a state championship, promoted as being under the control of Morelos Box Y Lucha Commission and usually referred to only as "the state tag team championship. It's unclear how long the title goes back. Two title matches are known before the current era.

2007-11-16, Arena Isabel, Cuernavaca, Morelos: Anubis (Morelos) & Celestial (Morelos) defeated Ramsés (Morelos) & Tamuz in a tag title match

2010-11-28, Deportivo Gloria Almada de Bejarano, Cuernavaca, Morelos - Damian el Inmortal & Kid Power defeated Damian el Salvaje & Randy Balderas in a tag title match

The championship is currently defended in ANLL. All champions & challengers should be assumed to be a local version of the luchador, not the DF version of the same name. The main exception is Canelo Casas, who is the CMLL luchador.
