Biography

Lyguila's name comes from the union of Leon Y Aguila (Lion and Eagle).

He was born in raised in his home country of Japan, but he was a big lucha fan and on February of 1994 he moved to Mexico. He was given his training by Villano IV at one of Ray Mendoza's gyms. His background was karate, boxing and taekwondo. He got his wrestling license on July 3, and made his pro debut on December 8, in Tulancingo, teaming with César Cruz against Diamante de Oro and El Pescador. That match was on the opener of a card from Fuerza Guerrera's PROMELL.

Lyguila also wrestled for the UWA, and when it closed, he jumped to PROMELL. He stayed in PROMELL until it became Promo Azteca, and then he signed with Grupo Renovación 2000, though he evntually returned to AAA as a part of "Los Kamikazes" with GOKU, Ziraiya and Tobokage, a group that had a feud with Los Insectos.

He was last seen competing for AAA in early 1999 and returned to Japan to compete in several independent promotions. He still tours Mexico from time to time, but is mostly seen in the undercard matches of CMLL Japan tours and in the Japanese independent lucha-based or lucha-influenced leagues.
