Profile

Guatemalan Ruda since at least 1970s. She was 12 years old when she was invited by a friend to the gym and she liked, but she was working at El Grafico Newspaper. The director of the magazine asked her if she wanted to learn wrestling. She said yes, her first maestro was El Corsario II, Arriero de San Juan, her cousin El Gato. There was no ring and no water.

She took the name of Gata Negra after her cousin El Gato. She did not know her cousin's identity until she began her trainning. The mask desing was an idea of Alfredo Hernandez. Her debut was in Arena San Jose, Ixtaguacan, Guatemala. Alto wrestled in Arena Coliseo Florida.

After her ring career, she was director of the Lucha Magazine. She had organized tribute events for fellow luchadors.
