Distrito Federal Welterweight Tournament, 2005

After the Distrito Federal Welterweight Championship was vacated for unknown reasons, a promotion held an all day free show in Zocal on 2005.05.15 In an odd format, 21 wrestlers particpated. There was an initial seeding battle royale, with the particpants were split intwo three groups

• the winner of the battle royale, Maravilla Lopez, earned a bye to the semi-finals
• four other wrestlers received multiple byes
• the other 16 wrestlers started from the first round

The final title match was not held on this show.
