Began as a wrestler in Xalapa; some bios have him debuting as a professional in 1960. Worked his way up through Arena Coliseo Guadalajara in the early portion of the decade to a Mexico City regular by mid of the decade. Match with Rene Guajarado in 1967 was called one of the best of the year. Worked main events by 1968 and seemed groomed to be a star for the following decade and was a particular favorite of Lucha Libre magazine. Shot outside of a nightclub on July 14, 1968 by alleged gangster Rafael Paredas Madriles and passed away the following Wednesday at 2:55 am.
