Began his training since he was a teenager attending middle school. He used to go train after school. He decided to train with his brother Príncipe Negro, but that training was so hard that he decided to left on the second day. Then he trained with his father Caudillo II the training as hard too, but he persisted. Play Boy and him passed their test in order to become professionals in spite of difficulties. Jesus Hernández had his ringname and gear but Caudillo was not convinced and Barick River told him to choose his son as Caudillo Jr. He received the name mask and gears.
He made his debut on July 21, 1980 in Arena Coliseo Mexicali against Play Boy who would become in his rival. The rivalized since their days of training, fellow wrestlers gathered to see them. Once they become professionals they began as a tag team, La Pareja Maravilla. They even comprised a trio with Príncipe Negro as Los Caudillos del Ring when Play Boy, Hormiga Atómica joined.
In the finals of a Campal for a cup both get to the final and Caudillo won. However, Play Boy did not take the loss well. He hit the referee and destroyed Caudillo's cup. Since then they had series of matches, championships and luchas de apuestas. Other notable feuds of Caudillo Jr. were against Tigre del Ring and Pequeño Traidor.
Caudillo Jr. was Baja California Lightweight Champion for 5 years. He became Champion by defeating Play Boy at Arena Coliseo. He had five successful title defenses against Play Boy, Tornado Negro, Acorazado, Furia Roja, Tigre del Ring.
Caudillo Jr. decided to retire on January 1, 2008 in Arena Nacionalista New Year's event after 28 years of in ring career. After his retirement match he unmasked revealing his name.

Caudillo Jr. had been awarded through his in ring career for his good quality Championship matches. Showing an outstanding technique, Olympic wrestling ability and aerial. He was considered the best técnico of Baja California in his time.
