CMLL World Welterweight Cibernetico, 2014

Mistico II held the CMLL World Welterweight Championship when he was hit by a car in May of 2014. The championship remained in limbo for many months. CMLL finally announced in November that Mistico would have to vacate the championship and a tournament to decide a new champion would take place in late December 2014. (This was strange, because Mistico finally returned ten days after his title was handed to a new wrestler.)

A ten person cibernetico was held on December 26, 2014 in Arena Mexico. The final two wrestlers would advance to the final the following week.
