CMLL World Trios Tournament, 2003

In July of 2003, CMLL held a three week, sixteen team tournament to decide the number one contenders for the CMLL World Trios Championship. The two blocks of the tournament took place 2003.07.04 and 07.11, and the final took place 07.18, all in Arena Mexico.

The Infernales, also the reigning Mexican National Trios Champions got their shot at the current champions, Dr. Wagner Jr., Universo 2000 and Black Tiger on 2003.08.01, and the Wagner, Universo, Tiger trio retained their belts.
