Worked as a acrobat in the circus for 10 years before switching careers to lucha libre.

Invented a version of the move that would later be adapted into the Huracarrana, which he calls La Califiña. Califa would later work in several of Ramierez's lucha films.

He retired in 1980 but continues in lucha training aspiring luchadores at Gimnasio el Mezquital in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon until he passed in 2010.
