AAA World Trios Tournament, 2011

In May of 2011, AAA started a tournament to determine world trios champions for the first time. The tournament appears to involve eight trios in a single elimination format, but details on the tournament have only been release with the announcement of each match. The tournament is expected to conclude at TripleMania, 2011 but it is not confirmed.
The tournament included teams from 'outside' of AAA: the IWRG team of Dr. Cerebro, Cerebro Negro & Eterno, and the Perros del Mal team of Damian 666, Halloween and X-Fly (though they were essentially AAA regulars at this point.)
Future match-ups are unclear; brackets are based on first round matchups.
