The NWA Mexico Welterweight Championship was a professional wrestling championship promoted by NWA Mexico. The title was one of two NWA championship endorsed by the NWA in Mexico. Turbo was the only champion of the belt.
History of Championship
The same physical belt is used as Skayde's NWA Mexican Lightweight Championship; there only appears to be one belt between them both, but they can both declare themselves as singles champions (of questionable merit.) The title in name is part of the rarely seen NWA Mexico promotion, but the title defenses have come as part of Turbo's participation in the Perros del Mal.
On November 13, 2013, the PWR announced through their official website the disband of NWA Mexico and, by subsequent, the end of the history of both championships promoted by NWA Mexico.
