The Arena Gladiador Extreme Championship is a professional wrestling championship defended out of Arena Gladiador in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
Current Champion
The championship is vacant.
History of Championship
On March 1, 2015, Joe Lider won an Extreme Match over Ángel Azul, Dance Boy, and Rey Supremo in the Arena Gladiador to become the inaugural Arena Gladiador Extreme Champion. He lost the title to Ángel Azul on July 5, 2015 in the same venue.
On June 14, 2016 it was announced the title vacancy due to lack of defenses of former champion Pagano. As Pagano began to work for AAA, there was too hardly to book him on Independent shows outside AAA or affiliates. A four way match between Ángel Azul, El Haragán, Mega Clown, and Rey Supremo took place on June 19, 2016 in the Arena Gladiador in order to fill the vacant title. Ángel Azul won the championship for the second time by lastly defeating Rey Supremo.
